Here's what we did today:
Math-We learned the properties of addition: the commutative, associative and identity properties. These can be tricky, but there is a homework page to help reinforce the concepts tonight.
Reading-The students took a short quiz to assess their ability to ask questions about text. I also met with reading groups today.
Word Study-Groups 1 and 2 worked on their contract while I met with Groups 3 and 4 to do their word sort. The test for Groups 3 and 4 is the 23rd and the contract is due the 24th.
Writing-We spent more time editing our pieces today.
We also took time today, in honor of Constitution Day, to watch a short video about how and why the constitution was written.
Homework:
Math-WS 4.2, all problems
Reading-I will meet with Morgan's Zoo and Class Clown on Monday.

Hi, we have been trying to get online to the math book and it keeps telling us we have the wrong user name and password. It worked the other day but not now. We are using the UN as tfourth and password as password. Is this correct? Thanks,
