January 28th

Today we had Ability Awareness Day!  It was a great experience for the kids as they got to hear from some very interesting speakers.  We heard from a woman with cerebral palsy, a man who lost both of his legs and taught us some wheelchair games, and a woman who spoke about some learning disabilities.  Here are some pictures from the day.

We also did:
Writing-We worked on our research papers and choice pieces.  Next week we will focus on revising.

Social Studies-Students continued making their advertisements for their trading posts.
