Here's what we did on the last day of our short week:
Math-We learned how to multiply 2 by 1 digit numbers. Students caught on quickly!
Reading-We added some more expository text features to our class list such as bolded words, graphs, and the index. Then, in pairs, students looked through an expository text for some examples and then shared with a group.
Writing-We continued with persuasive writing by discussing the important opinion statement. We'll be ready to start drafting next week.
We also met with our buddies today for a Thanksgiving Bingo game!
Homework:
Math-WS 10.3--Complete everything, except the middle section (where a factor is missing).
Read and write as much as possible!
