November 11th

Happy Veteran's Day!  We had a wonderful assembly this morning with beautiful singing from all the students.  Lauren and Anna got to read poems they wrote and did a fantastic job!

Here's what else we did today:

Math-We worked on working backwards to solve word problems and balancing equations.  We will finish up Chapter 9 tomorrow, review Monday and test on Tuesday.

Word Study-Groups 1-2 took their tests while Groups 3-4 did a buddy check.

Writing-We put the finishing touches on personal narratives and choice pieces and will be sharing tomorrow!

Social Studies-Students took the Chapter 2 test and will get it back tomorrow.

Homework:

Math-WS 9.4, all--WS 9.5, odds and all of MR

Word Study-Groups 3-4 test tomorrow, Groups 1-2 contract due tomorrow

Writing-Choice pieces are due tomorrow.  Many are handed in already.

Have a great night and don't forget to continue to bring in items for our adopt a family.  Also, wear your Truman gear to school tomorrow!
