Here's what we did today:
Math-We learned how to subtract fractions with different denominators. I will give a short quiz on adding and subtracting fractions with unlike denominators on Tuesday. The kids are doing great with it!
Word Study-I met with Groups 1 and 2 to go over the words they found on their search while Groups 3 and 4 did their word search.
Reading-The students met in groups to discuss their favorite and least favorite characters.
Writing-Miss Bergin led a lesson on haikus. Check the display in the hallway to see these!
Social Studies-We finished up Meet Me in St. Louis and worked on states and capitals.

Math-WS 22.6, all--Please show your work
Word Study-Groups 1-2:Test Tuesday, Contract Wednesday---Groups 3-4: Test Wednesday, Contract Thursday
Reading-Groups meet on Monday--Make 5 good sticky notes.
Social Studies-Students may take the states and capitals test and optional extra credit (locations of the states) at any time. The last day to take them is May 11th.
