April 11th

Here's what we did today:
Math-We learned how to compare and order decimals.

Reading-Students met in their reading groups today.

We spent a lot of time this morning doing math preparation for testing this week.

Social Studies-We learned about the national government including the Constitution and the 3 branches of government.

Homework:
Math-WS 26.5, all

Reading-Groups meet on Thursday.  The written assignment is for the students to imagine themselves as a character in their book.  They need to write at least two paragraphs explaining how they would include themselves in the book and details such as who they would be friends with, what they would do, etc.

Social Studies-If students know of someone who has become a citizen (i.e.-was not born in the US), they should find out more information about the process that person went through to share with the class.

States and Capitals-While we have not really begun learning these in class, students should begin working on their states and capitals.

Have a great night!
