October 14th

Here's what we did today:
Math-We learned about bar and double bar graphs today and that you use a double bar graph when you have two pieces of information to graph, such as boys and girls.

Word Study-I met with Groups 1 and 2 to do their sort while Groups 3 and 4 prepared their words for the sort.

Reading-We continued picking out the important parts of Flight.

Writing-All students chose a personal narrative to publish and began copying it onto draft paper.

Tonight's homework:
Math-WS 7.1, all problems

Reading-Make sure you read 100 minutes this week!

**Don't forget that tomorrow is a half day and pajama day.  Please bring $1 to donate to Haiti if you wear pajamas.

  1. David and the Phoenix in chapter 4, is mostly about the Phoenix giving David a practical education instead of a classical education. The Phoenix wants to take David around the world.

  2. Hi Mrs.Davis I'm reading Wariors Into the Wild by Erin Hunter. It is about a cat named Rusty joining the Thunder Clan and fighting off Shadow Clan warriors . I have two things to share , one I infer that Rusty is becoming a brave warrior because when an apprentice becomes a warrior they must spend a night at the moonstone , and the leader asked him if he would come with her.Two,Thunder Clan was just attacked by Shadow Clan.Well I have to go take a shower. Bye!
