Here's what were busy working on today:
Math-Students took the test on Chapter 6 and did very well! They should have it with them tonight. I can see that they spent time reviewing the vocabulary last night!
Reading-We continued in Flight and stopped every couple of pages to write down what is the most important thing we should remember. This will help us to identify the main ideas.
Writing-Today we heard a narrative about a girl who learned how to respect nature from a story her grandmother told her. We then thought of stories that we have been told by our parents or grandparents and did a quick write about why it is important to show respect to older family members. Tomorrow we will choose a narrative to publish!
Homework:
Math-Correct test.
Science-Test is tomorrow. The book is online. The web address and password is the same as it is for the Math book.
**A permission slip was sent home today about a field trip we will be taking to the Magic House on October 27th.
*Book orders are due tomorrow!
Hi Mrs.Davis! I'm reading Hoot by:Carl Hiassin. It is about a kid named Roy who meets a Guy named Mullet Fingers. the main idea is this: Roy meets a bully, but finds the more important thing is the owl mystery going on at the Mother Paula's Pancake house consturction site.
