Happy Friday! Here's what we did:
Math-We took the Chapter 7 test and I will have those back on Monday.
Reading-We continued with Main Idea and Details today by looking at some short passages and also returning to Amelia Earhart. We learned that the main idea can be found at the beginning, middle, or end of a paragraph and also that sometimes you may have to infer the main idea. Groups also met.
Writing-We looked at the opening sentences of our personal narratives and re-wrote our opening sentences three times before meeting with a partner to pick the best one.
Social Studies-We went over information about taxes, imports, exports, and budgets. A Chapter 7 test will be given late next week.
