October 21st

Happy Pioneer Day!  This afternoon we had a great time at the Pioneer Exhibit!  We got to shave, play with pioneer toys, grind cornmeal, wash clothes, play with cinnamon dough, make necklaces, pan for gold, make sheeps wool bracelets and more.  Thank you to our parent volunteers!

I was out for a technology training this morning, but the students did a lot of work!  They prepared for their Chapter 7 Math test, filled out a sheet on Main Idea and Details, took Spelling tests and worked on their Spelling Contracts.  I'm always so proud to hear how attentive and focused the class is even when I am out!

Homework:
Math-Study for the Chapter 7 Math test!  There is a practice test to help.  Students will also be given three sets of data and will need to create a line graph, circle graph, and double bar graph.  Line graphs for this weeks Reading minutes are due tomorrow.

Word Study-Groups 3-4 contract is due tomorrow.

Reading-All groups will meet tomorrow.

*Tomorrow is wear red day in honor of Red Ribbon Week!
