February 23rd Homework
Writing-We are working on rewriting our revised reports. The purpose of this is to have a nice, clean space to edit. We have been making so many good revisions that most of the drafts are getting a bit confusing to understand! This process will help us to correct all mistakes!

Social Studies-Complete discussion questions about Meet Me in St. Louis for class tomorrow.

Spelling-I have moved Groups 1 and 2 test back to Monday because we did not have time for Spelling today due to the Field Trip. Groups 3 and 4 will have their test Monday as scheduled.

Writing-Choose two places in your report where you need to add a transition. On a separate sheet of paper, copy those sentences and below them write it again with a smooth transition.
Math-WS 29.3--Chapters 28 and 29 Math test will be on Friday.
Don't forget that tomorrow is the field trip to the symphony. There are still many students who have not returned a permission slip and/or $6. Each student needs a signed permission slip in order to attend.

Math-WS 29.1 and 29.2--We are reviewing Area and Perimeter tomorrow and I may give the test on Thursday. If those concepts still need some review, I will push the test back a day or two.
Writing-Famous MO report DRAFTS due at the end of Writer's Workshop tommorow.

February 8th Homework
Reading-I'm waiting to receive new book logs that were copied so students can just record their summaries on a sheet of lined paper for now. They are due the 16th since there is no school Monday.
Writing-We have been working hard on our Famous Missourian reports. A DRAFT is due Friday. This should include a paragraph each on background, what the person is famous for, their legacy, and an opening and closing paragraph. This does not need to be revised or edited yet.
Math-WS 28.1
Social Studies-Chapter 6 test is Wednesday. Packet is also due Wednesday. We completed a study guide in class today.
If there is no school tomorrow, we will still have the SS test on Wednesday.
