November 30th Homework

Reading- A new book log was handed out tonight. It is due next Monday, December 7th.

Math-Chapter 10 test tomorrow-You should know how to multiply 2, 3, and 4 digit numbers by a 1 digit number, how to estimate to check, and how to write equations. A times quiz will also be given tomorrow.

November 24th Homework

Math -WS 10.5--There will be a Chapter 10 Test on December 1st. We will review on Monday. The test will be mostly 2, 3, and 4 digit numbers multiplied by a 1 digit number. Please practice all your basic facts and make sure you know the steps to solve these problems.

Don't forget to continue to bring in items for Adopt a Family!

Writing-Finish revising your personal narrative so that we can start editing tomorrow! Remember to ask yourself:
Does my piece describe an interesting personal experience?
Is my meaning clear in every sentence?
Are there sensory details in it?
Does it tell what I learned or how I changed?

Social Studies-pages 156, #1-6, Use PQPA and look back to find your answers or you will be asked to redo.

Writing-Work on lead sentences for your personal narrative. They should really hook the reader and make them want to keep reading!

November 9th Homework

Reading-A new book log went home today. Please complete it this week. Congratulations to those students who have handed in 10 completed book logs! You will get to choose a free book from the book orders that will go home tomorrow ($2 or less).

Writing-Please revise and edit your pen pal letters tonight so that we can send them out on Wednesday and wait to get some in return!

Math-There will be a times quiz tomorrow!

Tomorrow is picture re-take day. If you were absent on picture day, bring in your completed form. If you want re-takes, you need to bring back all your pictures that were returned to you in their original form (cannot be cut apart).

Wednesday is the Veteran's Assembly. Please let me know if you will be bringing any veterans to the assembly.
